About the Practice

In my therapeutic practice, I employ a person-centered approach, drawing upon insights gained from over a decade of spiritual self-development, plant medicine, somatic sensing, voice-work, contemporary dance, authentic movement, and trauma healing. I integrate shamanic visualization techniques, Neuroaffective Touch® therapy, talking, and movement therapy. My creative approach merges traditional SE® trauma-therapy tools with a deep bodily wisdom of movement and expression, fostering an authentic and coherent self.

I specialize in working with dissociative states, early relational and developmental ruptures, as well as pre- and perinatal trauma. Additionally, I facilitate group-processing sessions for artistic collectives, including dance and theatre companies, academic programs, start-ups, and businesses seeking to enhance team dynamics. My current professional focus is on supporting LGBTQIA+ and sex-positive communities.

In sessions, I utilize bespoke sculptures and objects to articulate stories, guiding clients towards new meanings and outlooks on life. While verbal communication is central, sessions may also incorporate nonverbal voice-work, touch, and movement as needed. When physical contact is involved, I adhere to clear protocols following Neuroaffective Touch® and Somatic Experiencing® guidelines for best practice. This approach can be particularly beneficial for working with preverbal states, pre and perinatal traumas, and early developmental ruptures.

Sessions often involve bodily releases of movement, recharging energy within the nervous system that may have been frozen or stuck in the past. Each session unfolds uniquely, and I prioritize creating an open, welcoming, and safe environment for clients. As someone who identifies as neurodivergent, I maintain an autism-aware therapeutic environment.

I am a qualified Family Systemic Constellator (FSC), trained with the Centre for Systemic Constellations UK, and a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) certified by the European Association of Somatic Experiencing (EASE). Currently, I assist in Somatic Experiencing® trainings in Croatia and Serbia and am an SE Approved Personal Session provider at all levels of the SE® professional training.

I am a member of the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) and the Somatic Experiencing Association UK (SEA). Since 2012, I have collaborated extensively with Basque shaman Manex Ibar, and in 2019, I assisted Dr. Peter Levine and Betsy Polatin in their workshop "Trauma in the Public Eye," exploring how SE® can aid performing artists in delivering their art authentically.

For several years, I have worked with performing artists and individuals with movement, performance, and vocal practices, integrating Somatic Experiencing® and Systemic Family Constellation methodologies into dynamic one-to-one and group sessions. I focus on tracking the story of the nervous system through movement and affective expression, working with individuals seeking to reconnect with their bodies and felt sense, as well as those experiencing anxiety, stress, physical and chronic symptoms, birth trauma, ancestral trauma, conflicts, and relationship issues.
